About
I've always had an interest in woodworking. Early on at the age of about 9, I wanted to build a wooden airplane from scraps in my fathers basement woodworking shop. I was certain I could cut a piece of wood by hitting it with a hammer and a blade screw driver. After some inquisitive questioning by my father he cut the wood for me. I did finish the airplane and gave it to him as a gift for fathers day. I still have this airplane, found in the attic of my childhood home.
At the age of 12 I began playing guitar with my older brothers help. 4 of my brothers started a bluegrass band and I just had to play along, I was hooked, and have been playing various instruments ever since.
Later in life (2003) I joined these two passions and began building guitars. I haven't looked back since. I love building custom one off creations taylored to the individual players needs. The satisfaction and pride in seeing a pile of wood and steel become a beautiful musical instrument is very profound and drives me to do it again and again.
